What a Business Profile Can and Can't Do
A complete, verified profile with genuine reviews is the foundation of showing up in local searches, but nobody can guarantee a position on Google Maps, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Distance from the searcher, relevance and real reviews decide most of it.

Why was my Google Business Profile verification rejected?
Common reasons are an address that doesn't match, a business name with extra keywords in it, or video verification that didn't clearly show the business. We check what went wrong and resubmit correctly.
Can I have a profile if I work from home?
Yes. Home-based and mobile businesses can hide their address and show a service area instead, which is also what Google's rules require if customers don't visit you.
Will this get me to the top of Google Maps?
No one can honestly promise that. A complete, verified profile with real reviews gives you the best chance; distance from the searcher and relevance decide the rest.
Who owns the profile?
You do. It's set up under your own Google account, and we're only added as a manager if you want ongoing help.
