Cucina Da Vito

A Reservation System That Replaced the Phone Pad and the Inbox

An Italian restaurant in Orleans was taking every booking by phone and email. We built a website with a reservation form, a staff admin panel, and one-click booking actions with automatic branded emails.

What We Provided

  • Custom website development
  • Reservation & booking system
  • Staff admin panel
  • Workflow automation
  • Automated email workflows
  • Content management
The challenge

Reservations arrived by phone and by email, and lived in whichever notebook or inbox caught them first. Nobody had a single view of what the night actually looked like, so double-bookings and missed messages were a standing risk. Confirming a booking, moving it or turning it down meant writing an email by hand, and that work landed on staff during service, when they had the least time for it.

What we built
  1. A branded restaurant website with a public reservation booking form built directly into the site, rather than a disconnected third-party form.

  2. A secure staff admin panel that shows every reservation in one place, so the whole night is visible at a glance instead of scattered across a phone pad and an inbox.

  3. One-click Accept, Reject, and Request New Time actions on each booking, replacing hand-written replies.

  4. Automatic branded confirmation and update emails, sent from the restaurant's own identity the moment staff act on a booking.

  5. Admin-managed menu content, including a photo for each dish, so the kitchen can change the menu without going back to a developer.

Business impact

How It Changed Their Day-to-Day

  1. One view of the night, not three

Every reservation lands in the same place. Staff stopped reconciling a phone pad against an inbox to work out who was actually booked.

  2. Replying to a booking takes one click

Accepting, moving, or declining a booking is a single action in the panel. The customer gets a branded email automatically instead of waiting for someone to find a moment to write one.

  3. The restaurant updates its own menu

Dishes, descriptions, and photos are managed by the restaurant itself. A seasonal change no longer depends on developer availability.

  4. Booking feels like the restaurant

Guests book on the restaurant's own site, in its own look, instead of being sent to a generic form on someone else's platform.
