We visit you at home and go at your pace, with no jargon and no rushing. One-on-One Computer Lessons for Seniors and Adults
Lessons happen on your own computer, phone or tablet, at home, so everything you learn works exactly the way you'll use it afterwards. We start from what you want to be able to do: send photos to the grandchildren, join a video call, use online banking safely, find things on your computer, or get comfortable with a new device.

Computer Recycling and Secure Data Wiping
Before an old computer, laptop or phone is recycled, donated or sold, the personal files, saved passwords and accounts on it need to be properly removed. Deleting files or emptying the Recycle Bin isn't enough. We copy anything you want to keep to your new device or to family members, sign the device out of every account, and securely wipe the drive.
Then we tell you where it can go in Ottawa: donation if it still has life in it, or an electronics recycling drop-off if it doesn't. This is part of our estate and downsizing help too, when a family is dealing with a relative's devices.

Both. Remote support works well for most software and account problems. Hardware, networking, printers and jobs involving several devices are done onsite or at the workshop, by appointment.
Do you do in-home computer repair, or do I have to bring it in?
We come to you. On-site visits across Ottawa start at $40 and cover computers, laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, and smart devices in the place they actually live. If the fault turns out to be software, we can often fix it remotely the same day instead. We'll tell you which is faster before you book.
Is mobile computer repair more expensive than a shop?
No. Our on-site rate is the same as our workshop rate, starting at $40 with a free diagnosis and no fix, no fee on software work. There's no call-out fee and no travel surcharge anywhere inside Ottawa.
Can one visit cover several devices?
Yes, and it usually should. Most home visits end up covering the laptop that prompted the call plus the printer, the Wi-Fi dead spot, and a phone or tablet. Tell us everything that's bothering you when you book and we'll allow time for all of it rather than charging you for a second visit.
Can you help set up a new computer or transfer data from an old one?
Yes. We set up new computers and move your files over from the old one, and we can move phone and tablet data too.
How much does home tech support cost?

Do you offer computer help for seniors?
Yes. It's in person and goes at your pace. We make devices easier to use with larger text and simpler setups, help protect against scams, and can visit regularly so you always have the same person to call.
Can you clean up or transfer data from a family member's old devices?
Yes. We securely wipe personal data, move photos and files to family members, and help you donate or recycle the devices, whether you're settling an estate or downsizing.
Do you set up smart home devices like Alexa, Google Home, or smart locks?
We set up smart speakers and hubs, connect devices that are already installed to your Wi-Fi and apps, and set up wireless cameras. We don't do physical installation that needs drilling or wiring, such as thermostats, wired doorbells or smart locks.
Can you help if my email or bank account was hacked?
Yes. We reset your passwords, turn on two-factor login, check what else was accessed, and lock your accounts back down.
Do you help with personal websites, email setup, or learning to use AI tools?
